Valley Porcupine Dahlia, Novelty Double Center dahlias

This universally loved flower boasts a one-of-a-kind look with its charming silvery pink blooms accented by fuchsia tips. Each 3-inch-wide flower has delicately incurved petals shaped like tiny canoes, all pointing inwards to create a delightful spiky appearance.

The color is a soft metallic pink on the main part of the petal, shimmering like silk. Towards the tips, the color graduates to a vivid fuchsia pink that adds a burst of energy. The pointed petals have a sharp appearance, when bunched together, the blooms take on the appearance of a floral porcupine, with dozens of incurved "quills" jutting out in all directions.

Flowers are produced prolifically on the compact 3-foot plants. It's easy to see why these fun, fluffy blooms are a favorite - they inject any arrangement with whimsical texture and color.
